The Tomatis Centres in Rome, Verona and Fermo apply the Tomatis method according to the standards of Professor Alfred Tomatis.

Concetto Campo

Doctor Concetto Campo, the manager of both centres, is a psychologist and was trained in using the method at the end of the 1980s in the Tomatis Training Centre in Paris under the guidance of Professor Tomatis.

In the latter part of the 1990s he introduced the Tomatis method in Sweden where, adopting the method, he worked professionally and intensely through seminars for several years.

Doctor Campo teaches at the Mozart Brain Lab in Belgium, the institute that Alfred Tomatis founded to continue the research and training activities for new therapists.

He wrote “L’orecchio e i suoni fonti di energia – Il metodo Tomatis” (The ear and its sounds as a source of energy – The Tomatis method) for Edizioni Riza and “Introduzione al metodo Tomatis” (An introduction to the Tomatis method) for the Ferrara University editions.

The Centres in Verona and Rome organise activities using the Tomatis method in some localities in Tuscany, South Tyrol and Calabria.

Seminars, conferences and workshops are programmed during the year.
