Rebecca Gough – Tomatis® Practitioner & Educational Consultant
With over 20 years of experience in education, I have dedicated my career to helping children and young people develop the skills they need to thrive. As a former primary school teacher with a BA (Hons) in Drama in Education and QTS, I have spent the past 15 years supporting schools in embedding Philosophy for Children (P4C) and metacognition, enabling students to become reflective, independent thinkers.
My passion for child development and neuroplasticity led me to explore sound therapy, and I am now a Level 1 Tomatis® Practitioner. Through the Tomatis® Method, I support children and young people with sensory processing, auditory challenges, emotional regulation, and learning difficulties, helping them unlock their potential and navigate the world with confidence.
I strongly believe in a holistic approach that considers both cognitive and physiological factors. My work integrates my expertise in neurosensory development, retained reflexes, and cognitive strategies to create tailored interventions that improve focus, emotional well-being, and learning outcomes.
At the heart of my practice is a commitment to empowering families by providing the knowledge and tools to support their child’s unique needs. Whether working with children experiencing anxiety, auditory sensitivities, attention difficulties, or learning challenges, my goal is to create a nurturing space where they can build confidence, resilience, and independence.
