The Sound Teacher provides professional support to children, adolescents, and adults. The Sound Teacher works with clients of any age to establish specific developmental, learning, academic or personal challenges, and discuss and plan expectations.
The Sound Teacher works with individuals in a meaningful and engaging way, to provide comprehensive and individualised intervention. The aim is to work towards mastery of skills and talents in the chosen domain - home, school, work and in the wider community.

Cat Robbins, BA (Hons), PGCE (QTS), PGDip (QToD), Tomatis® Practitioner
Cat graduated from the University of Kent with a BA (Hons) in Social Policy, and subsequently the University of Surrey Roehampton with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE Primary – ICT specialism). She worked as a class teacher for the London Boroughs of Lewisham and Croydon from 2001.
Cat completed a Postgraduate degree in Education Studies – Hearing Impairment (2014-2016) and worked for the London Borough of Bromley as a Qualified Teacher of the Deaf with secondary school pupils.
Cat is a Tomatis® Practitioner and combines up-to-date knowledge of the Tomatis® Method of sound and listening therapy with meaningful 1:1 learning and teaching interventions. Cat supports the development of the brain in children, adolescents and adults to refine their learning efficiency and help them express their skills and talents.
Cat is passionate about the impact of hearing and listening on learning and life.
