Françoise is a French-Australian Registered Psychologist, an experienced Tomatis® Consultant (over 47 years) and and the longest practicing Trainer. She was a founding member of the Association of International Registered Certified Tomatis® Consultants in 2001. She has served as the President of the IARCTC from 2004 to April 2011. She has been involved in Tomatis® professional training since 1983. She is the co-author of the Listening Journey series and published in 2011 the Listening Journey for Children.
Françoise was trained by Dr Alfred Tomatis® in France and worked there for 10 years. In 1987, she crossed the world and took the Tomatis® Method to Tahiti, where she stayed for eight years.
In 1993 Dr Tomatis sent her to Japan to initiate the professional Tomatis® training there and assist the opening of the first Tomatis® Centre in Tokyo.
In 1995, she finally set foot in Australia to expand the Tomatis® Method, which was a dream come true for her.
In 2006-07, she participated in the introduction of the Tomatis® Method in the Philippines and since 2016 is supporting professionals and families in China and professionals in Japan.
Françoise is also responsible for training new professionals in using the TM and mentoring the Tomatis® Practitioners and Consultants in Australasia and South Pacific. She travels regularly overseas to lecture at conferences and has won a few Tomatis® prizes over the years. She has also contributed to a few research programs.
Through over 47 years of dedication to the Tomatis® Method, Françoise has gained an amazing experience with children and adults presenting various types of issues. She has worked with babies, toddlers, children, adults and the elderly presenting difficulties with listening, learning, communication and languages but also with voice, fatigue, stress, anxiety, brain injury etc.
Françoise is passionate about making a difference in people’s lives. She constantly educates herself with new research about the brain and neuroplasticity.
Her vision is to bring the Tomatis® Method into more schools and institutions so more children and adults can benefit from it and for it to be considered as a mainstream therapy.

The Tomatis® Centre in Sydney is located in Waitara (Northern line) on the train to Hornsby. The clinic is above Beacon Lighting on Pacific Highway. Parking is on Yardley Avenue, and disabled people have easy access.
The centre is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and offers Tomatis® Listening assessments, Tomatis® home-based or clinical programs, and uses the latest Tomatis® technology with TalksUp® and Maestro® .
Françoise Nicoloff is an experienced Psychologist, Tomatis® Trainer, and Consultant who started working with Dr Tomatis in 1978 in the field of learning and communication difficulties, including Autism, ADHD, Learning difficulties, Auditory Processing Disorder, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Global Development Delay, Trauma, Stress and Anxiety.
She introduced the Tomatis Method in Australia in 1995.
She has a holistic approach and can put the dots together when assessing.
She also works with all fields of application of the Tomatis® Method, including learning languages, singing, and pregnant women.
Françoise has been part of the Tomatis® training team since 1983 and regularly trains new professionals in Australia, Southeast Asia, including Japan and China.
Françoise is assisted by Customer Liaison Officer, Junaila Corazon Santos, who liaises with Participants to services offered at Tomatis® Method Centre in Sydney’s office, at Waitara (Hornsby).
She assists Psychologist Françoise Nicoloff with clients/participants of all ages with learning and communication difficulties, autism, Down syndrome or other genetic disorders, learning disabilities, brain injuries, and special needs. Junaila also deals with community groups and handles customer service inquiries, assessments, and account records for NDIS (National Disabilities Insurance Scheme) clients.
