Sound Education

The work of Sound Education builds on over thirty  years of experience in the allied health field of bodymind psychotherapies. After completing post graduate work,Kay went to London and studied for her diploma in Biodynamic Psychology. During and  following completion she had her first experiences of supervision; of clinical practice;of being a clinical coordinator,of developing  training curriculum; and training others in  a bodymind practice.  Kay  easily recognised  the Tomatis* method as a bodymind practice and has seen how the .focus of  research  has shifted in many of the health and science  field.  For example, brain plasticity has become popular   through the writings of  Norman Doidge, Author,Researcher and Psychiatrist. His research was the study of  brain  plasticity by meeting a  diverse group of researcher practitioners  around the world who were unbeknown sometimes using this notion. He then  created an  elegant model for practitioners and lay people and understand.

Kay with  thir background  used her recently completed  PhD(2013) to cover a synthesis of her studies in neuro-physiology,the macro regulation of brain gut, the microregulation of the voice-ear-brain;.dyslexia sensory training understanding; the use of voice as healing; and the new science ideas and technology.
