Marjorie Cases, OTR/L, is a highly experienced and internationally recognized Occupational Therapist specializing in the Tomatis® Method. She integrates this approach with other therapeutic modalities such as sensory integration, executive function rehabilitation, occupational therapy, reflex integration, and timing and rhythm techniques like Interactive Metronome (IM).
Ms. Cases has extensive experience in treating brain injuries, degenerative and genetic disorders, autism, learning differences, depression, and language-based difficulties. She has honed the art of customizing each Tomatis® program to ensure the best possible outcome for every individual.
She offers a dedicated pregnancy program to support expectant mothers and early intervention services for premature and micro-premature infants, fostering early development and well-being. Certified to teach advanced aspects of the Tomatis® Method to other clinical professionals and parents, Ms. Cases ensures continuity of therapy at home.
A graduate of Montreal University, Canada, Ms. Cases has actively practiced in both the Philadelphia (USA) and Montreal (Canada) areas since 2002. She consults with various academic programs and lectures to professional groups across North America, providing support in sensory-based intervention and facilitating engagement and social reciprocity throughout daily activities.
Since 2010, Ms. Cases has presented at organizations such as the California Occupational Therapy Association and the Alaskan Occupational Therapy Association and has lectured in Toronto , Canada and Verona, Italy to train parents and professionals on the DIR model. She also tutors clinical professionals nationally and internationally.
Currently, Ms. Cases works in the Philadelphia area and provides Tomatis® services. She is highly skilled in working with adults with ADD/ADHD, depression, learning and reading differences, and acquired brain injuries, applying the latest interventions and knowledge to support brain development from childhood through adulthood.
